Hero
Hero, formerly known as Fleeter Neal was adopted from the Greyhound Pets USA (Florida / southeast coast chapter) with the help of the Palm Beach Kennel Club.
We took Hero to the meeting at Flashback Diner. First time at a reataurant. He did great. Mostly he lay next to the table calmly.
You can view more pictures of Hero and track his progress on our Facebook page.
Update from June 30, 2011:
Hero is AWESOME in public. Not good at some basics like Sit & Down that most dogs are good at, but amazing at things like Loose Leash Walking that other dogs are not good at. Pace changes, Direction Changes, Elevators, Stairs (Stopping to rest while walking down them today) Stop & Stand. Leaning on him to rest. Using him for support getting in and out of chairs. He is perfect at those things. Very calm, stable, gentle, temperament.
